As the top real estate company in North Orange County, everyone knows that Prudential California Realty can sell homes. But the real question, is can they build homes too? On June 15th, Prudential’s Brea agents were put the test at Pomona Valley’s Habitat for Humanity chapter!
Danielle Ervin, Gillian Mezzell, Cristal Drake, Tom Fosmire, Connie Bramble, Lacey Sollie, Aaron Mills, Lynn Levine, Lisa Gillis and Fidelity National Title’s Stacey Sloan Lisa all joined in to assist with Pomona Valley’s latest project: the completion of their 40th home, built for the Cessna family. John and Naomi Cessna, and their two children, Christopher, four, and Caleb, three, currently live in a cramped trailer home. Once completed, their new three-bedroom, two-bathroom, two-car garage home will provide plenty of room for the family to grow.
Although the completion of their home has faced delays John, a Los Angeles County animal control officer, and Naomi, a Sunday school teacher, feel touched to be a part of the Habitat for Humanity organization. They were overwhelmed when they first learned of the announcement, bringing Naomi to tears. They now plan to use their free time volunteering for Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity to help build homes for other Habitat families, in addition to the 500 hours of sweat equity they are required to put into their home.
Prudential’s Brea office is proud to contribute to this wonderful cause, and dedicate their time to find sponsors, raise $2,400 and build to provide a home for this wonderful and inspiring family.
